As part of our Marketing & Sales Division Airband are now have an opportunity for a Marketing & Customer Research Analyst.

Reporting to our Insights Manager this position will play a critical role in leveraging data to gain valuable insights into customer behaviour and preferences. Ultimately driving strategic decision-making and enhancing the customer experience. Key Accountabilities:

  • Collect and analyse customer data from various sources, including CRM systems, transactional data, surveys, and social media, to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Develop and maintain customer segmentation models to better understand customer behaviour, preferences, and needs.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer journeys, interactions, and touchpoints to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to gather requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer insights.
  • Design and execute surveys, focus groups, and other research methodologies to gather qualitative feedback and insights from customers.
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques, such as regression analysis, clustering, and predictive modelling, to forecast customer behaviour and outcomes.
  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives by analysing customer response and engagement metrics.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in customer analytics and insights to continuously improve methodologies and processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with privacy regulations by implementing data governance practices and protocols.
  • What are we looking for?

Essential to the role are:

  • Experience of the telecoms / utilities market
  • Proven experience in data analysis, market research, or customer insights, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex datasets.
  • Experience with statistical techniques and methodologies, such as regression analysis, clustering, segmentation, and predictive modelling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex findings into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
